A Fun Week in Vegas...

I took Dane to get his pictures taken for his first birthday and thought this one turned out pretty cute. (i don't have a scanner so this is a picture of the picture which explains all of the finger prints on the frame).

Dane kept stealing Jaisa's baby and stroller. I thought it was cute but I hope that Ryan doesn't see this picture. I figure I am pretty safe since he never gets on this website.

Dane loved playing with Grandma because she would grab his arms and legs and flip him up onto her shoulder and then he would lean forward until he would swing back down to the floor. He thought it was so funny and couldn't get enough!
It took a couple of days but finally Dane warmed up to my mom...
Dane is obsessed with "ights" and fans. He thought this view was perfect!

The birthday kiddos: we decided to have an early birthday party for these babes so they could have a joint party. Dane's real birthday is on the 26th.

Checkin out the cake but not so sure what what they are supposed to do with it. I was shocked that they didn't go crazy. I guess it's not as much fun to make a mess when they are allowed too.
Dane got over the cake pretty fast...literally..
Just making sure he licked his hand completely clean before cleaning off the other hand.


All of the other cousins were gathered around the cake and trying to hold back the urge to pounce on the cake also. Tyson, my sister's 4 year old, was leaning over the cake for an extremely close look until my dad helped him get an even closer look by shoving his face into the cake. We all had our laugh (Tyson too) and my mom even caught it on tape but then Tyson decided it actually wasn't that funny and got revenge by screaming and throwing a handful of cake at me and my mom since we were the first people he saw laughing I guess.

To make things even worse, we used blue food coloring gel to write the message on top of the cake. Not only was Tyson's shirt stained but so was his face. A couple days later Tyson still looked like a little smurf.

Here is the 6 year old, I mean 60 year old, who started the whole thing. Tyson should've known to keep an eye on Grandpa.

After things settled back down, my brother's twins jumped in and were more than willing to try and finish off the cake.

Ladies Night! I left Ryan back in AZ and my dad went out of town overnight, so my sister's husband GOT to babysit while us girls went out to eat. This was a fun night since we haven't been able to do anything like this in a long time. (we missed having steph and Lara with us though!)
It was such a fun week and great to be around my family but both Dane and I missed Ryan and were really excited to get back to him.
