My friend gave me and my other friend the idea to start this project. She originally got the idea from Pottery Barn which is known for having the cutest decor. Here are me and Sarah finishing up with our boards...
As soon as I finished my board, I was so excited that I HAD to hang it that night. I am not a very patient person...
And, here is the end result! I love how it turned out!
This is my other project. Since we live away from both of our families, Dane doesn't get the chance to see his relatives very often. My sister has a gospel ABC's album so I thought I would copy it. Each letter has it's own page and a picture of the family member that starts with that letter. (I also included the Prophet, Joseph Smith, Scriptures, Temple,....) I have pictures of some of the pages from inside below.
"D"- is for "Daddy" and Dane..
"S"- is for "Scriptures", (aunt)"Stephanie",(cousin) "Scotty",(uncle) "Steve",....
After the alphebet there are the numbers 1-10 and randoms pictures for those.
Now I need a new project! Any ideas???

i am so jealous of those awesome projects right now!!! they turned out so dang cute!! if you want something else to do.... you can always make one for me!!:) seriously, if i tried to do those i would still be working on them in 5 years. any extra time i have is spent trying to get some rest! anyways...i kinda do want to know how you did them just in case i ever have the energy to make something cute for the new babies room (or for the girls room when they have to share)!!

Carlie, that picture of Tyson is not good, so if you wouldnt mind changing it out to a different one, thanks! And, why dont you make Jaisa some hair bows? That sounds like a great project for you and it is easy. Have them ready by Saturday wheh I pick you up at the airport :)
Oh my gosh you are so talented. I need some projects but I am not crafty at all. I love that book, it is so cute and such a good idea. I need to do something like that. Your picture thing turned out so good!

your final product of the board is so cute. i love it. i like the look of the bigger picture frames. for some reason i was thinking smaller ones i n my head, but i like the statement yours makes. where did yo find all your frames? the abc book is so cute too. you are so crafty and ambitious. i admire you in that way.

I'm trying to make a book like that for Cade, too! But I'm having a hard time finding a small binder like that and sheet covers that size. Where did you get it?
the picture board looks great! I have been trying to make for two years now....pretty sure it's not done! call me when you're in town...maybe I will have the baby by then!

I would love to do something like that - oh wait, I don't have one square inch of free wall space in my apartment! You are so talented. I am working on a movie right now - do you know how to do that? You can borrow my software if you want, it's been a fun (but time consuming) project for me.

Wow! I love the family pictures. What a great way to display them. You are so creative! My kids would love the ABC book. They are constantly looking through our mini-photo albums.
