My dad's 60th birthday is coming up this months so as his HUGE present we told him that we were sending him and my mom on a caribbean cruise. Little did he know, all of us kids would be there too!!! Somehow we were able to keep the big secret from him. All of the guys grew out their beards and had ridiculous disguises on (do-rags, earrings, wife-beaters, huge sunglasses,...you get the idea..). We stayed at the hotel across from their hotel in Ft. Lauderdale and the morning of the cruise we rented a shuttle. We all got in and then the driver (who was in on the suprise along with my mom) took us to my parents hotel to pick them up. The driver was able to get my dad to sit in the front seat which worked out great for us since it would be hard for him to get a good look at us. The driver also told my dad that there were a bunch of wierdos in the car, hahaha... My dad kept glancing back, I think mainly to keep an eye on his wife, but did not recognize anyone. Ryan was the only one clearly in his view but with the mean handle-bar mustache, skinny sideburns, huge female glasses, baseball cap, and tank top- my dad never caught on that it was his son-in-law. After about 10 minutes of blurting out random words in random languages and giggling up a storm in the backseat- we burst out singing "happy birthday" but he ignored us until we said "happy birthday dear dad" bc he just thought we were psycho people. When he finally realized it was us in the car he was SHOCKED and looked as if he were going to cry. It was so awesome to suprise him like that (and get it on film-i taped the whole thing through a small hole in a newspaper that I was "reading"). I can honestly say that this was by far the best, most fun vacation that I have ever been on!
Thank you so much to Ryan's parents for watching Dane for the week so that we could go on this trip. You guys Rock!!!

The Look on Dane's face here shows how much fun he had with Grandma and Gradpa Skinner all week!!
