This is what happens when....

Dane doesn't lock his bathroom door!

I am used to Johnny swirling his hands in the toilet every now and then when he gets the chance but the other day when my sister-in-law was over and we were visiting I thought the house was a little too quiet. I walked over to the boys room and glanced in their bathroom as I walked past and this is what I saw. DISGUSTING!! Especially since it is Dane's bathroom and who knows what is lurking around in that toilet.

The expression on Johnny's face is priceless. He was totally waiting for me to come and bust him because that is what he ALWAYS does. As soon as I saw him he started jumping up and down, splashing in the water, and squealing with excitement.

I guess this is what happens when I have 3 kids and my husband is gone for a month! Please tell me this happens in every home at least once??? ;)

Foxy Roxy's First Photo Shoot

My friend and I attempted to have a photo shoot with Roxy. Neither of us really knew what we were doing but we were still able to capture some really cute pictures. Here are a few that I loved:)

Halloween 2010

Ry brought the boys to come see me at the hospital before taking them trick or treating at his school. The nice nurses made them stop at the front desk so they could give them candy and graham crackers:) Poor Johnny didn't know what to do with himself at the hospital. He wouldn't come near me or the baby and wouldn't even make eye-contact. It was so sad but now he won't keep is mouth and hands off the poor girl.

My boys at the Midwestern halloween party. For some reason Johnny is missing a shoe in all of the pictures that I saw from this party. Haha. That kid is a mess:)

Ry snapped this picture of me and Roxy right after we got released from the hospital. (Don't mind the pasty white anemic skin and overly-tired eyes)

Ninjas for our ward trunk-or-treat.

Grandma giving Roxy her first bath at home. It's tradition:)

Roxy is here!

On October 28th we welcomed Roxanne RaNae Skinner to our family. Because of Ryan's travel schedule and wanting family in town I got induced 8 days early. This girl still came out 8lbs 10 oz. and 21 inches. My biggest baby so far. I was expecting a little petite girl but I guess she knew she better pack on the weight before her wild brothers could get their hands on her:)

This, by far, was my most miserable pregnancy and delivery.
I got my epidural which was awesome until it wore off after an hour of pushing which left me pushing for a whole other hour completely feeling everything including being stitched back up. I bet Ryan has never heard screaming like he heard that night. I was a mess!!!

Finally after 2 hours of pushing my 8 lb 10 oz baby girl joined us, as soon as the Dr. left the nurse called him to come back because she was "uncomfortable with how much blood I was losing". That made me feel great;).

I have a history of fainting right after giving birth so I warned my nurse which let me stay in the room a little longer than usual until I felt ok. As soon as I got in the wheel chair to be wheeled to my room everything went silent and started going black. She kept telling me to open my eyes and keep talking to her but I couldn't stop my head from wobbling and I really didn't care at that point what she wanted.

As soon as I got in my room and in my bed I felt better and all of the nurses were warned about me. hahaha. They decided to keep my catheder and IV in so that I didn't have to get up the rest of the night because no one wanted to have to clean me up off of the floor.

The next morning the nurse came in and told me that my hemoglobin was extremely low and that they wanted me to get a blood transfusion. (it is supposed to be at a 13- before the delivery mine was at 8 and after it dropped to 6.4) In other words I had lost a ton of blood and was completely anemic. I decided not to do the transfusion and to try Iron pills first.

They then introduced me to my new antibiotic for a UTI i was getting. I could not believe my luck!

Both of my boys were a little jauniced at birth so I figured this baby probably would be too. She was a little jauniced when we left the hospital Saturday morning. I scheduled the follow up with her pediatrician on Monday where we got her newest lab results. Her biliruben was at a dangerous level so my Dr. told us he was admitting her to the hospital to control it. It was supposed to be for 2 days that she was in the hospital but she got to come home after one day luckily.

As exhausted as I have been I felt I was starting to feel comfortable with the whole 3 kid thing (haha) until last night I felt the beginning of a mastitis infection. This morning I felt that it was full blown (I had mastitis when Dane was a baby- the WORST pain of my life). I started my newest antibiotic tonight and along with my percocet I am feeling a little better and hope to have better luck in the next couple of days.

All I can say is that as crappy and draining as the last week has been, this little girl has totally been worth every bit of it.

She has lots of dark hair like Dane but blue eyes like Johnny.

Dane's Newest Roomate

The other day I went into the boys room and asked Dane to help me make his bed. As I pulled the comforter back A LIZARD ran acrossed the bed and suicide jumped behind the bed. I screamed because it was a fast little bugger and it caught me off guard. I, along with Dane, had no idea about this little guy sharing his bed. I was disturbed and wondering where the heck this lizard came from, how it got in our place, and how long it had been there.... and Dane thought it was awesome! We had to take Dane's bed apart, climb behind his dresser, run back to where the bed was,.etc... until I finally caught "George" (Dane named him:)

I made Dane come outside with me to let him go, of course Dane was just in underwear bc that is how he rolls:)

Dane and his bunk buddy, George.

Dane wanted to hold his new friend so I taped his attempts

Leapin Lizards!

Whoops!

The screaming is in reaction to George's tail coming off and still wiggling on the side of the bowl. ewww! I can't believe that Dane was brave enough to just try and pick up the lizard without much hesitation. He is so funny.

Baby girl Skinner and Dane

Look how dang cute our newest little one is. At my last appointment the nurse was able to print off this little beauty:)
...and I walked in on Dane working at his tool bench with his head lamp on. Too bad he only has one good eye to see with. haha. He had a wrench and a power drill and said he was fixing Johnny's "Dr. duck" (notice the rubber ducky dressed as a Dr. behind him)

The Full Moon Last Night

Some people wake up to the smell of bacon and eggs in the morning.

Some people wake up to the warm sun peeking through their blinds.

AND

Some people wake up to this right outside their bedroom door....

Ok, probably just Ryan and I do:)

Dane has been potty trained for a while now although he still needs help wiping if he does more than just pee. Well I was sick of him coming into my room every night to announce that he had to go to the bathroom so I told him he needed to go in his OWN bathroom and that if my bedroom door was shut that meant we were still sleeping and he was NOT allowed to come in. Well, I'm thinking he felt conflicted the other night after going to bathroom and needing to be wiped but seeing that our door was still shut so he just decided to wait for us to open our door. When I opened our door in the morning I found him like this and he was COMPLETELY out of it when I was trying to figure out what was going on so I sent him back to bed (of course only after I snapped a few memories with my camera).

What a funny kid!
