4 Years and Counting!

Yesterday Ryan and I celebrated our 4th anniversary. I am so glad that I found him. I could not ask for a better husband or father for my children.

Ryan surprised me one night while we were having dinner. Right after dinner he suprised me with this setup where he played the guitar and sang to me. He HATES country music but one of my favorite songs is "Memories of Us" by Keith Urban. He bought the CD and taught himself that song on the guitar (he is very very good on the guitar). That song also played for our "first dance". This picture was taken right after he proposed!

GNO

Friday night my sister, Steph, took her little birthday girl and some friends out for a night on the town and wanted me to keep her company. We, along with nine 10-year-olds went and got pedicures and then went out to dinner. It was such a fun night!

Wassssuupp?!

Hangin out after a long day at the pool.

Looks like SOMEONE woke up on the wrong side of the...box.

The other morning I was surprised that 8 oclock had rolled around and Dane had still not come out of his room or even made a peep so I decided to go in and check on him. I opened the door and did not see him in his bed. All of the sudden I see his head pop out of an box that was in his crib. (A couple of days prior I had gotten a box of clothes out for Johnny and just left the box in the crib since the baby doesn't sleep in there yet.) Right away DAne says "mom get me out of the box". I guess he got in it last night but bc I have drapes in his room it was way to dark to get back out of the box without falling so he slept in it. He slept sitting up with his head just resting on the outside rim of the box. As you can tell by the look on his face- he was extremely ornery from not getting a good night's sleep. He even had an indentation on the back of his head where it was resting on the rim of the box. We now have hidden that box:)

Dane, Dane, Dane,...

*The other day Ryan and I were talking and Dane walked up to me with my scriptures and in an excited tone said "Mom! This book not boring anymoy!". What the heck? It was so funny!

*A couple of weeks ago Ryan's parents were in town and took Dane to Chucky Cheese. Dane LOVED it! We were all watching one of the games and then Ryan saw Dane take off running. Ryan chased after him but it was too late. Without any hesitation Dane was at a random table shoving as much of their pizza into his mouth as he could before Ryan got to him. RYan got him down from the table and told him "no" then glanced at me as we both tried not to laugh (hoping the owner of the pizza wasn't watching:)) When we glanced back at Dane 2 seconds later we saw him booking it for the ski ball game where someone had abandoned their drink. Once again...Ryan was too late and Dane chased down his pizza with someone elses soda. GROSS!

*Dane now knows his alphabet (with a couple letters left out here and there). He even sings it to the baby as a lullaby I am guessing:)

*I was holding Johhny and Dane came and sat by me then said "OOOHhh, cool tunnels Johnny baby!" - talking about his nostrils.

*Last Sunday before church Dane looked at me and said "Mom look beautiful, like a printhess!"

*Dane shakes our hand and says "Nice a meet you (whatever your name is)"

*Dane was crying the other day and I told him to stop crying liking a little girl and he said "Dane not crying like a little grill, I crying like a big boy"

*A picture of one of the Jonas brothers popped up on the T.V. and Dane quizzed himself by saying "A boy? A grill? No... a monkey!"

My Boys:)

Ye-haw!
Ready to go "shoot the ducks, and fish, and lake, and ducks, and fish".
Dane reminds me more and more of Dennis the Menace. I can't imagine what the neighbors were thinking when they looked out their windows to see this little cowboy trying to round up and shoot all of the ducks.
Running,................................running,.......................
......and more running.
My dad took Johnny swimming for the first time and he LOVED it! He kept smiling and giggling. The water in our pool is amazing right now.
Mr. Blue eyes right after swimming. (Notice the cute dimple on his cheek- I LOVE IT! :)

Playing Catch Up...

I finally am catching up and posting some of my favorite pictures from the past 2 weeks. Things have gotten a lot better in our household. Johnny was really fussy starting at about 3 weeks old so I took him into the Dr. and turns out he is colicky and has a little bit of reflux. The Dr. put him on some medicine and he now is a completely different baby (most of the time:)! He has been so much happier since he started taking the medicine. He also has reached some major milestones that I am SO excited for:)
Big Milestones:

#1- Johnny is now sleeping through the night! That's right! He started at 6 weeks. He sleeps from 10p.m. until 7a.m. straight!!! The past couple mornings he has woken up at 6:30 but I can't complain with that:)
- I think this picture is so funny. Look at his cute little hands.

&

#2- He is also smiling up a storm. I LOVE it!!

As for Dane-

He seems to think that now he is in a "big boy" bed that he doesn't need to take naps or go to bed when I tell him to. He goes in his room without a fight but because his bed is right by the window he just looks out the window and watches people and talks to himself. I make him stay in his room and he will just hang out by the window for 2 hours- the little bugger! My friend text me the other week and said to ask my son to stop flirting with her through his window. I can always tell when he sees someone he knows because he squeals and then starts yelling out their names.

This is one day when I caught him "napping"
Most of the time when I go to get him from his nap and he has fallen asleep, this is how I find him. His head is behind the curtains because he fell asleep while watching people or counting cars in the parking lot. This is another time that I was running to the car and looked up to see if he was awake but I found him sleeping like this. His head isn't even on a pillow it is on the window sill. Just some cute pics:)

Dane sat like this watching his shows for like 5 minutes before making me take the baby from him:)
