I just got done reading an article saying that Governor Mitt Romney just left the presidential race. The actual title of the article is "Romney suspends Presidential Campaign" which gives me hope that he will try to run again. This country needs to be led by someone with good morals, religious beliefs, family values, and experience. His reason for leaving is NOT because he is a quitter but because he feels it is in the best interest of the country. "I must now stand aside, for our party and our country.... If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator CLinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror," He then went on to say that it was a hard decision because he hates to lose and so many people have worked so hard to get him to where he was. "If this were only about me, I would go on. But I entered this race because I love America," said Romney.
Hopefully by Romney stepping down and putting his pride aside, people will realize how much he loves this country and wants so badly for it to be a better and safer place for us to live and raise our families. America needs a leader like Romney to get this country back on track and hopefully if and when he runs for president again, him ending his campaign now will only help him in the future.
Way to go MITT!!

AMEN!!! I was so sad reading his speech that I wanted to cry! What has America done? I don't even want to vote now.
I was surprised when I saw this article today too but was much better after reading. There is definitely still hope!

It was a sad day in our house when Mitt dropped out (I guess suspending is different than dropping out). We still haven't taken the Mitt signs out of our windows or yard. I keep saying I'm going to leave them up and just write 2012 or 2016 on them.

How fun to see Tim! Why is he there? We just hung out at home last night and had dinner and such. Joe and I were talking and we would love to get together with you guys before it gets too hot so we should figure out a time to get together either at our house or yours or we could spend a weekend in Palm Springs or something.
